Aston Villa are desperate for Ashley Young to commit to a new contract.

The Daily Star says Villa will hold last-ditch talks with wantaway Young to keep him from the clutches ofManchester United.

The England winger is a £15m January target for the Premier League leaders, who have pinpointed Young as the man they want to replaceRyan Giggs.

Young has decided his future lies away from Villa Park and will look to leave the Midlanders as early as next month.

Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested but Young wants guaranteed Champions League football.
